The aim of course of Environmental Laboratory I and II is to provide students with the necessary knowledge to benefit from laboratory methods in environmental practices. For this purpose, applications are made in our laboratory, laboratory rules, introduction of laboratory equipment and materials, weighing and solution preparation, pH and pH markers, determination of resolution and examination of the effect of temperature on resolution, chromatographic analysis, UV-visible field spectrophotometry, presentation of devices and equipment used in microbiology laboratory. and use of microscope, some microscopic creatures used in water quality determination, introduction, collection and storage techniques of benthic creatures living in our fresh waters from invertebrates and fish living in our fresh waters from vertebrate animals, parameters to be measured in place in determining water quality, biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), suspended solid matter determination, dye adsorption from solution on various adsorbents, phosphate determination in waters by spectrometer, sulfate determination, hardness determination, chloride determination sampling and analysis methods for ini, organic and inorganic pollution parameters in water, flue gas analysis.
